Erupting

Well, angry sisters  is one of the phrases used to describe the 

volcanoes, Eyjafjallajokull and Katla.  I like the  

phase form the narrator on National Geographic

better: the "Iceland 2-step".

The reason is that usually after Eyjafjallajokull erupts, 

Katla sometimes follows.  If this does happen, it would 

be nothing less than cataclysmic as stated on the Nat

Geo program I watched yesterday evening.  Katla is 
more dangerous

As stated by Carlo Piovano, Associated Press Writer

on April 20, 2010, "A Katla eruption would be 10 times stronger and shoot higher and larger plumes of ash into the air than its smaller neighbor, which has already brought European air  travel to a standstill for five days and promises severe travel delays for days more." 

When Eyjafjallajokull started it's "docile eruption in 

March/2010, (top right photo) some were relieved while others thought this was just the beginning. Then in April, 2010, a fisher opened up under the glacier, melting the ice above. What happen next is that Eyjafjallajokull exploded throwing ice, spouting fire along with rocks, boulders and ash into the atmosphere a few miles up.  

Those that took these photos did a good job capturing the awesome beauty and the volatile nature of one of 35 active Icelandic's volcanoes.  Eyjafjallajokull is just one.  To read up more on this subject, here are the links:

Which Gaming Console To Choose. . .

I am a gamer, have been since the early systems back in the day.  When my arthritis isn't knocking on my bones, I enjoy survivor horror and First Person Shooters even a combo of both.  I also like other games for their uniqueness like Little Big Planet.

Watching shows like G4, even going online to

G4 and IGN.com mostly, I check the scores of up and coming games like Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 and a few others I am interested in.  

The first Bioshock game is awesome, fighting the Big Daddies, using stealth to also fight those maniacal

splicers. "You run like a drunkard", my daughter says. A definite junkie, since Resident Evil Director's Cut & Tom Raider, I said.  

Just don't know which gaming system to get these games on. . .a decision will be made, probably before Mother's day.

Lucky for me, all the gaming systems I have were presents.  I couldn't afford any of them, too expensive with my meager income right now.  So enjoy playing when I can heeheehee!

Play the first Halo so much that I couldn't play it anymore, lucky for me, my daughter brought me another, so much fun!
