Well, angry sisters is one of the phrases used to describe the
volcanoes, Eyjafjallajokull and Katla. I like the
better: the "Iceland 2-step".
The reason is that usually after Eyjafjallajokull erupts,
Katla sometimes follows. If this does happen, it would
be nothing less than cataclysmic as stated on the Nat
Geo program I watched yesterday evening. Katla is
more dangerous

As stated by Carlo Piovano, Associated Press Writer
on April 20, 2010, "A Katla eruption would be 10 times stronger and shoot higher and larger plumes of ash into the air than its smaller neighbor, which has already brought European air travel to a standstill for five days and promises severe travel delays for days more." When Eyjafjallajokull started it's "docile eruption in
March/2010, (top right photo) some were relieved while others thought this was just the beginning. Then in April, 2010, a fisher opened up under the glacier, melting the ice above. What happen next is that Eyjafjallajokull exploded throwing ice, spouting fire along with rocks, boulders and ash into the atmosphere a few miles up.
